(Mostly) Men's Figure Skating NTSC DVDs for Trade
Last Update: November 22, 2010

I'm a relatively new figure skating fan, so I don't have many events, but I'm happy to make copies of anything I have. It should be noted that I'm interested primarily in the men's singles discipline (with ice dance being a distant second), so most competitions I have features just the guys unless I state otherwise. (The other 3 types of skaters are featured in ice shows and exhibition galas.) I recommend you use the Ctrl + F feature on your keyboard if you want to find a specific skater. I can't make compilations, only exact replicas. I also cannot covert NTSC to PAL or vice-versa.

Almost everything in my collection is commercial-free. The events are listed in chronological order. I rate the quality of my discs as follows:

- Excellent: exactly as televised

- Very Good: there are minor flaws which keep it from being "Excellent"

- Good: the footage meets 2 or 3 of the following conditions---
1) the image is sorely lacking in sharpness
2) the colour and/or brightness is quite dull
3) the audio is slightly wonky or garbled
4) the movements are somewhat choppy
5) there are tracking problems (i.e. "static lines" on the screen)

- Fair: satisfies more than 3 of the conditions listed above; in other words, it's simply watchable

I don't carry footage which I deem to be "Poor". When I mention that an event has a DVD menu, it means that it has proper chapters which are placed just before a skater's performance, so you don't have to rewind or fastforward to reach your favourites (though the disc itself may not necessarily have a menu per se).

I can create DVDs for cost, or we can make an exchange. If you'd like to trade with me, please be aware that my main focus are on competitions, shows, interviews, documentaries, fluffs, etc. which features the following men's singles skaters:

CANADA: Fedor Andreev, Jeffrey Buttle, Shawn Sawyer, Kurt Browning
USA: Johnny Weir, Jeremy Abbott, Ryan Bradley
EUROPE: Kristoffer Berntsson, Tomáš Verner

Alternative coverage of an event that I already have might be acceptable depending on the quality and the the intrusiveness of the commentary. I'm also looking to upgrade anything which I list as "Fair", "Good" and "Very Good" (though obviously with the last one your copy must be flawless). I'm very honest about the condition of my footage, and I expect the same from you.
